From The Tiger Tool to Big Cat Voices
After a full year of brining big cat conservation news and media to audiences around the world, The Tiger Tool is officially moving on to a new initiative. The Tiger Tool founder, Mike McGovern, has joined forces alongside four leading big cat experts and National Geographic Explorers to create a new organization called Big Cat Voices. The four fellow co-founders are Steve Winter, Sharon Guynup, Alexander Braczkowski, and Bertie Gregory.
The new non-profit shares some of the goals of The Tiger Tool, particularly the mission to bring big cat media to a wider audience of people. The organization will have three main operational steps: Explore, Share, and Change. To simplify the three respective points, they hope to lead expeditions to document the most important issues facing big cats, share these incredible stories with their supporters, and change the world by creating impactful media.
If you have been a fan of The Tiger Tool, Big Cat Voices will be an exciting new destination for your big cat content. As for our website, the content will all stay available online and we will continue to share this work with the following we have built up over the past several months.
Be on the lookout for Big Cat Voices this summer and help us give a voice to big cats around the world!
