Florida man attacked by captive leopard after paying for an up close encounter with the big cat

Dwight Turner, 50, was attacked by an adult leopard in an enclosure on private property in South Florida. The facility is owned by Michael Poggi, who has been charging visitors to pet and play with his leopard. Turner was left in critical condition and forced to undergo multiple reconstructive surgeries. This is yet another example of the safety risk involved in the private ownership of dangerous animals.
